Barbados is the jewel in the Caribbean crown.  Discovered in 1627 this small island, 21 miles long by 14 miles at its widest point, has a strong British influence. It rapidly became an important source of sugar cane with its development providing a captivating mix of architecture, cuisine and music.

Rich in history and proudly demonstrating the very best of English tradition the island is affectionately known as Little England.
